We have just started to take bookings for Portrait Parties. What is a portrait party I hear you ask! A good question - this was an idea I saw working for a small business in the USA. Basically it works on the same principle as Body Shop parties or Ann Summers parties.
Someone will host the party - they will be responsible for inviting friends & family. On the date of the party our photographer & assistant will turn up at the desired location, this can be the hosts home, outdoor location or anywhere the host decides to have thier party. The photographer will have portable studio lighting, backdrops etc... everything required to take great portraits of the host and thier guests.
What are the benefits? - well each guest will get a free 6x4 print on the night of one of thier portraits, and will be able to order from a wide range of products, from canvas prints to posters to mouse mats and mugs! There will be a selection of sample products and brochures to look through. A discount will be available for all orders placed at the party, although orders can also be taken anytime after the party.
But what about the host! As the host, you will get extra freebies & discounts. The total of what you might get depends on the amount of orders your guests put through. So this could be anything from a free 16"x20" canvas print to a half price 70cm x 70cm Acrylic Print!
We think that this is a great way to have a good time with friends and get some fantastic family photos at the same time. We can do specific parties for just adults, parents with children, maybe you know a lot of parents with new babies. What better way to share this wonderful time than a portrait party and get great baby photos while your at it.
